Ein Hammie Wong

After a 3 week delay and 361 days in a hospital, I finally get to escape to the outside world for the first time in my life. I’m not sure what to expect pass these sterile, bland walls but mommy and daddy sure seem to be excited, so I am too. I know they have been waiting for a long time because they always talk about it. It’s truly been a long, enduring journey for all of us. I’ll sure miss all the pretty ladies I’ve met throughout each hospital though. 😘 To all the nurses, therapists and medical staff out there, thank you from the bottom of my hammie heart for your love, attention, smiles, flirtiness, changing those stanky diapers, sitting me up, making me giggle, feeding me, cleaning my vomit, giving me baths, patting me to sleep, holding me, blowing kisses, singing to me, playing with me, calling me handsome, advocating for my well-being, providing mommy & daddy positive encouragement/hope/support, and most of all, making me as strong and healthy as possible to come home. I don’t know how I would have gotten through those long, boring, and sometimes painful days and nights without you. Please K.I.T. and remember to stay cool.

Wow what a day. So many people in a room celebrating my birthday (one week early). I was still at the hospital during this initial celebration since my cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandparents happen to be in town. It was neat meeting mini uprights that are shorter and closer to my size. The theme was a weird mix of Studio Ghibli movies and a pizza party. And mommy dressed me up as Totoro. I was really overheating in that long-sleeve outfit. 🔥

I was much happier and my smiley self when I went back to my room for individual attention from visitors
