OK so the day didn’t start out that great because who wants to be poked and prodded in the middle of the night for an IV.

But wow what a day of new feels all over the place. It was so exciting, I had to barf everything after my 9:15am feed during the first half hour of my first flight ever.

Boy did I feel so much better after my tummy got vented. Though I’m use to all the fine, pretty ladies at CHOP and Hackensack, I was very lucky to have Nate as my flight companion who took such good care of me. I remember him taking care of other NICU babies in my pod but we didn’t become the best of pals until now.
Thank you Nate for getting me across the country in one piece. I was always immediately comforted and cared for anytime the ride got bumpy or I was startled with discomfort. I owe my smooth first journey from coast to coast because of you. If it weren’t for you, mommy would have been so much more freaked out than usual. P.S. sorry for barfing all over the place and thanks for the diaper + outfit change up in the air π

Ok to get my street cred back, check out my cool ride being refueled at the stopover in Wichita, Kansas.

My other sweet ride in an ambulance and my first time seeing the sun outside. I don’t remember anything because I couldn’t see a damn thing (thanks for forgetting to pack my aviators mom πΆπ)
