The moment the lady with the guitar rolled into my room, I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. Her angelic, calming voice and acoustic guitar playing had my full attention. My first crush in LA. And my respiratory numbers were at its best since transitioning to the go home vent. This was much needed to break the tension in the room of alarms going off and the battle of mommy vs. Doctors.

How coincidental that the music therapist sang “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” to me – I feel the same way, babe. She also sang to me nursery rhymes, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, You Belong to Me (Yup, Ditto), Disney songs like Kiss the Girl (I’ll kiss you any day), Part of Your World, Dreams Come True (only with you, GurL), and Chim Chim Cher-ee.

I even got to participate in her band.
